Social Action in Tikun Olam
A participant of Tikun Olam has a wide variety of
choices in various Volunteer programs. These programs require a wide array of
skills and talents and we are certain that anyone can find his or her niche in
the Program.
Education- Different ages and programs are
available from Daycare centers to High Schools and after school programs.
Co-existence- Working in Arab-Jewish
projects in Jaffa: The Arab- Jewish Community Center, "Psagot"- College for All
and other options.
Environmental Projects- Helping to turn
South Tel Aviv Greener and more Eco-Friendly.
Youth and Children at Risk- Working with
children of apprehended felons.
Human Rights- Working with Foreign Workers
and Refugees.
Culture and History- Working with Museums
to preserve the culture and Heritage of the Jewish People.
Public Health Service- Volunteer with "Magen
David Adom" (Israel's Red Cross) or assist the disabled in different programs.
Choose Your Own Program- We will try to
accommodate personal wishes and skills in the Volunteer programs.

week there are approximately 18 hours of volunteering (spread
over 3 days).
